PROJECT DESCRIPTION :

Goat Farming in Regueb throough swarming small livestocks in local need families. Genetic improuvement of the local breed.

BUSINESS MODEL :

Identification of beneficiaries: mothers from needy families in the Regueb region. Beneficiaries receive 10 heads. At the first litter, half comes back to Caprigène as a refund. The other half is added to the initial flock. Beneficiaries generate income with: the sale of males, the sale of milk or processed milk products. Caprigène generates income by selling the goats recovered from its beneficiaries.

SOCIAL IMPACT MODEL : 

The majority of rural women in the Regueb are forced to travel miles every day to work for a nominal wage while putting themselves at risk by unsafe means of transport. Caprigene allows these women to have stable sources of income to support themselves and their families without putting their lives at risk.
