We are a non-profit organization engaged to improve life standards through supporting impactful startups and SMEs. Previously known as Yunus Social Business Tunisia, Impact Partner is a network member of Yunus Social Business Global Initiatives (YSB), cofounded by Pr. Muhammad Yunus, Nobel Peace Prize laureate. Since 2014, Impact Partner has developed accelerator programs and offered testing funds as well as investment opportunities through the first Impact Investment fund in Tunisia.

Fares Mabrouk
Before leading Impact Partner, Fares has previously founded and ran a number of SMEs based in North Africa, focused on mobile banking, oil logistics, and journalism including the HuffingtonPost Maghreb. Fares is a visiting professor at Sciences-Po in Paris, where he taught statistics and data analysis. In 2010, he was selected as a Yale World Fellow. Fares obtained a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Harvard University’s Kennedy School and has a degree in Economic and Statistics from the National School of Statistics and Economic Administration in Paris.
Leila Charfi
Leila has over 10 years of experience in entrepreneurship support services. She managed the Microsoft Innovation Center (MIC) Tunisia then MIC Africa. Then YSB Tunisia from 2015 to 2016. Leila graduated from ENSI and University of Ottawa with a Masters in Telecom. Leila also worked for 6 years in the Telecom industry (Canada then France).
Investment Committee
Brahim Anane
has over 40 years of experience in the Banking industry. Managed several Banks, like the STB. He sits on multiple investment committees of seed funds. President of the Investment Comity of AfricInvest and founder and first president of the AVCA. Participated to the creation, financing and management of more than a hundred new companies, in Tunisia and in sub-saharian Africa. Since 1991, he is a consultant, working mainly for the Government, the World Bank, ONIDO, and private companies. Brahim has a Ph.D in BA from the University of Berkeley, USA.
Mohamed Salah Frad
CEO of UGFS-NA currently managing two securities funds, three mutual funds and two seed funds representing 85 M TND. Prior to UGFS, he was head of research department at a leading broker in Tunisia and led the listing of several companies in the Tunisian Stock Exchange. Mohamed Salah is CIIA, and holds a Master’s degree from the IHEC in Tunisia and an MBA from UQAM, Canada.
Slah Kooli
Founder & Manager of TAEF Search Fund. Before that, CEO of MILLHORIZON. Since 2011 Slah is the chairman of the Board of ENDA INTER-ARABE. From 2012 to 2015 he was country manager of LU Algeria. From 1994 to 2011, General Manager of Société Tunisienne de Biscuiterie. Slah graduated from Ecole Centrale Paris Engineering degree then Post-graduate degree in 1986.
Sylvain Franc de Ferrière:
In the YSB Global Initiatives core team. Manages YSB’s activities in Africa. Prior to YSB, Sylvain worked as a consultant in Argentina for Endeavor and then as General Manager for a business of an Endeavor entrepreneur. He has also served as a consultant for the BCG in Paris. Sylvain holds a M.Sc. in Management from HEC in Paris.
